Denison Environmental Services (DES) is searching for an Electrical Apprentice interested in furthering the development of their professional skills with a growing environmental firm. The right person has an affinity for northern living and working within a team atmosphere. They will be applying their training to activities such as troubleshooting of electrical equipment, installation of fixtures, reading and interpreting drawings and electrical code specifications and inspections of equipment under the supervision of licensed electricians. The position is located in Elliot Lake, ON. DES has work across Canada and opportunities to contribute to these projects may arise. Work is based generally on 40 hours per week and compensation will be tailored to suit the qualifications and experience of the candidate. This opportunity is expressly suited to a creative problem solver with a curiosity for the electrical field and a firm grasp of electrical fundamentals and their applications. For Internships: University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study.
