Environmental Monitoring of BHP Billiton Base Metals, Les Mines Selbaie, QC Client: BHPBilliton Base Metals Denison Environmental Services (DES) has been awarded the contract to perform long term care and maintenance services for the closed mine at Selbaie in NorthWestern Quebec.
	Open Pit at Selbaie As of March 1, 2007 DES will be the Care and Maintenance Contractors at Selbaie providing long term care and maintenance services that include operation the effluent treatment plant and administration of the sites Health and Safety Plan along with preparing the performance reports for the site. All environmental monitoring, database management and security will also be functions carried out by DES personnel. To administer this new project DES has established a branch office in Rouyn Noranda staffed by Celine Libero and Sylvain Chenard PH(819)762-0888. We look forward to working at Selbaie and with the BHP Billiton Management team to provide these essential services.
