Denison Environmental Services (DES) has been providing comprehensive services to monitor, treat and report on the closed uranium properties of Rio Algom since 2001.
DES operates and maintains effluent treatment plants on a daily basis 365 days per year. Scheduled work and environmental sampling and control are organized and recorded using EnvistaTM software. Our team approach includes working closely with the owner, the lab (Elliot Lake Research Field Station) and Regulators.
Some of these properties will require some measure of monitoring and environmental controls for the foreseeable future. From our own experiences at DES we have developed cost effective strategies that can help mining companies to focus on their specialty while we perform ours.
