Denison Environmental Services Setting the standard

In the fall of 2000, the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines awarded the 3rd phase of the cleanup work at Caland to DES. This involved the demolition of the Headframe and Administration structures.

The Caland Mine Headframe, Auxiliary Building demolition and subsequent shaft capping was complete on March 30, 2001.
