Denison Environmental Services (DES) is a contracting group based in Elliot Lake,Canada. We specialize in all aspects of mine closure and decommissioning.

Over the past eleven years, the group has been involved in the closure of dozens of properties. Closure involves stabilizing a facility to make it safe physically and chemically for now and in the long term.

Closure often is associated with the removal of the mining equipment and sale of this material as scrap or as an asset in support of the closure's financial package. DES has a well developed network of clients and an experienced sales and mechanical team that can handle repairs and upgrades as well as removals of most major mining equipment.

Environmental Monitoring has become a key part of our operations. DES currently has contracts with the Vale-INCO, BHP Billiton, Rio Algom Ltd. and the Yukon Territorial Government to perform long term monitoring and maintenance at their facilities.

Our ISO 9001:2008 certified company is well equipped to provide the plant and administrative services that will keep you in compliance.
