Bicroft Uranium Mine

Working for the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, Denison Environmental Services (DES) planned and performed remediation of the former Bicroft Uranium Mine.
Activities at the site began in late January and were substantially completed by March 31, 2005.
The primary activities undertaken included reduction of the foundations and a backfill layer to mitigate gamma radiation level to background levels.
